Money makes the world go 'round.

Guidelines for the implementation of financial and economic benefits

Guidelines for Realizing financial benefits and economics

The UNI ISO 10014 is specifically addressed to senior management of business organizations, aims to provide guidance on how to realize economic benefits through the application of management principles defined by the ISO.

This standard is intended to provide the basics on how organizations should be structured in order to develop methodologies and processes that tend to facilitate the objectives that senior management has been giving you.

The principles are as follows:

Customer orientation (“Try to spend a lot of time talking face to face with customers. Would be amazed to know how many companies do not listen to their customers” Ross Perot)

Leadership (“It is the quality of leadership, more than any other factor, determines the success or failure of any organization” Fred Fiedler and Martin Chemers)

Involvement of people (“The very essence of Kaizen is very simple and almost disarming: Kaizen means improvement through the involvement of all employees and managers. Kaizen philosophy states that the way we live, work, social life, including the walls of the house, the best in a constant “Masaaki Imai)

Process approach (“Almost all quality improvements occur simplifying projects, implementation processes, layouts or procedures” Tom Peters)

System approach to management (“A good business management, in the deepest sense of the word, translates into a tenacious and always try the best” Phil Condit)

Continuous improvement (“The starting point for improvement is to recognize the need to produce.
This recognition comes from the identification of a problem. If no problem is found, the improvement will not be accepted as necessary “Masaaki Imai)

Decisions based on factual data (“data and respecting the facts that they show” Kaoru Ishikawa)

Mutual beneficial relationship with suppliers (“Money is useful as long as needed to highlight, with a practical example, that an industry is justified if it is useful, that he has to make the services to the community and whether the existence of an industrial company does not translate into a benefit for everyone, this company has no right to exist. Our industry is no more, in fact, that a body of experiments designed to test the validity of a principle. Someday the whole industry you’ll like us. Someday industry will become honest “Henry Ford)

This type of action in the management of the business and to be considered of strategic importance as it defines the method to realize economic benefits through the implementation of the resources of the processes of all those activities that can generate added value to its objectives as: improved profitability, improvement of the organization’s budget, reducing waste and costs, improve cash management in the organization, the organization increased revenue, customer loyalty and their implementation, greater satisfaction with enterprise resource by increasing the sense of belonging and increasing the powers through processes of empowerment, improvement of skills and resources including those of the supply process, continuous improvement of the organization.

The provision in section 5 defines the new method of approach by crossing the above principles ela PlanDoCheck Act, for each principle is suggested a strategy for action indicating methods and tools, weapons that business managers must apply in order to achieve the result by defining timely prioritization of actions.

The UNI ISO 10014 is definitely the means by which to return to the role that is due to the quality management system within an organization, not lived in incorrectly as a cost or a handicap, but restoring esteem and respect, center gravitation organization to improve and control business processes in order to improve results, the only way for quality managers to acquire new trust and confidence by senior management and entrepreneurial
