AnsaldoBreda: on FYRA trains baffling decision of the Belgian railways.

We will protect our interests and our image.

AnsaldoBreda has comprehended with dismay and disappointment the announcement made by NMBS, the

company that operates the Belgian railways, during a press conference held today.

Although at the moment no official communication on behalf of NMBS has been received by AnsaldoBreda,

the analysis conducted so far and the efforts undertaken by AnsaldoBreda did not portend this decision,

which is in contrast with the results of the copious meetings at various levels had so far and to which also

Belgian technicians have always been present.

The statements of NMBS appear exploitable, do not correspond to reality and circumstances indicate that

the reasons for the will to terminate the contract are not technical, but of other kind.

Today’s announcement offends the commitment of dozens of Dutch, Belgian and Italian workers committed

for weeks to honour the contractual commitments, mortifying their professionalism and experience;

AnsaldoBreda will then evaluate each action to protect its interests and to defend its image at international

level.
